We are an established small, locally-owned jewelry store and manufacturer looking for our newest team member to join our 'ohana.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Associate that is responsible for assisting each customer with jewelry transactions of all types including, sales, layaway, custom orders, returns, trades and/or repairs.

Ideal applicant will be efficient in time management and must have basic jewelry knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in opening and closing the store
• Greet and assist customers, show products and suggest items as needed
• Ability to build customer relationships and confidence with accurate information regarding each jewelry piece, the production process and/or ordering process
• Accepting and processing orders
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service
• Provide information regarding layaway plan and financing options
• Maintain and update inventory database
• Perform physical counts of merchandise
• Efficiently complete tasks or special orders assigned by store leadership

QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED SKILLS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience as Retails Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role
• Understanding of retail sales process
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Basic math skills
• Extraordinary attention to detail
• Multi-task and problem solving skills
• Initiative and willingness to learn
• Demonstrate professional maturity
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Independent creative writing ability for listings and posts
• A thorough understanding of website and social media platforms
• Organized, driven, and efficient

PAY & BENEFITS:

Starting pay and benefits will be discussed during interview

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.75 per hour
